Intimate Moments for Vienna is a weekend of dance and film programme featuring works by Southeast Asian artists developed by Vanini Belarmino in response to the current exhibition of the Museum of Ethnology “Dance Creation. Asia’s Mythical Past and Living Present.“
The line-up presenting a combination of dance-film screenings by Sherman Ong and Masahiro Sugano alongside a solo performance by Unita Gaye Galiluyo aspire to highlight the current thinking and reflection of contemporary dance practice in Asia by Asian artists. The attempts to bring into consciousness that dance in Asia is alive and has grown from within and beyond the confines of tradition.
Intimate Moments is a series of artistic encounters and cultural exchange initiative organised by Belarmino&Partners Singapore. It received generous support from the Singapore International Foundation.
